Emma passed away when she was only ten. The pain I felt after losing her made me create the silver mugs . Later, I tried to keep her memory alive with a doll, Emma. Janka, her sister lived on and accompanied us for another seven wonderful years. It is a very nice age for a dog, I know. But being together for seventeen years, can’t be forgotten in the blink of an eye. Her wonderful personality filled up every moment of our lives. She loved us gently and imperceptibly as a human - a very intelligent human. Wherever we moved, her presence turned the house into a home. She held all our memories from the past. Lately, she needed a lot of care and we selfishly did not want to realize how big sacrifice was her to stay with us. We let her go at the very last moment she was able to leave with dignity. Her beauty and elegance are kept alive by our Janka doll. Tragically, we lost Zuzu (our beloved guinea pig), on the same week, our family has waned. Zuzu was only three… – life is unfair.
