Marbushka Christmas with 'Rainy Day'

Image
Everything outside loses colour, so it’s time to gather ever-greens, decorate the house and celebrate colours. I thought the ‘ Rainy Day ’ game would be colourful enough to cheer us up, so I put the cats into the spotlight. It was fun to work with the happy playing pieces, I hope you will love the game too!

Once Upon a Rainy Day - Out now!

My first attempt at drawing in comic style led to the happiest and most colourful game I have ever designed. I am proudly announcing the release of our new cat-themed game: Once Upon a Rainy Day . I love the game board most: The strange angles and perspectives make you feel that it is perfect from every direction. The game itself is based on a memory game, but it is much more than that! The cats have to collect mice in their chosen colour into funny containers but the curious dog makes it difficult… but wherever he goes, he is in the way. (Ages: 5+, Duration: 20min, Number of players: 2-4) The game is available at shops and on our website!

Once Upon a Rainy Day

Well, hello again! I had been messing around with this post until the game – somehow – ‘became’ completed. I suppose witnessing exclusively the final, spectacular phase of the process is much more fun for you than following my struggles day by day. :-) So, here you are, this is our next game right before starting the production: We hope you will like its twisted (but simple!) logic and funny, colourful atmosphere! The game will be available (hopefully,) when you return from the summer holiday. Technical details: Age: 5+, Number of players: 2-4, Duration:15-20 min

Cats – The Beginning

Image
It took me for a while to discover how amazing creatures cats are. I had several surprisingly good experiences with them recently and after cat-sitting for a week, I helplessly fell for their funny character. In my case, it means that our new game is going to be about cats. I have invented two rather difficult gameplay during the last year so it is time to turn back to those rules that can be adapted easily and you don’t need to take a day off to learn them.
