a cirkusz vége • the end of the circus

Extrém elvárásaim voltak ezzel a játékkal kapcsolatban, amivel jól megnehezítettem a helyzetünket és persze az agyára mentem mindenkinek aki segíteni próbált. (Sok szereplőt akartam mozgatni a táblán úgy, hogy kaland is legyen benne, ne csak szerencse, pont annyi okoskodással megfűszerezve, amennyit egy szülő még ki tud lehelni magából este)
Ebben a kategóriában az összes játék a porond eseményeire fókuszál, az én illusztrációim meg, ugye... nem kifejezetten az előadásról szólnak... Alapos kutatómunkát végeztem a boardgamegeeken, és azt hiszem végül jól oldottuk meg a feladatot: a mi játékunk halvány fedésben sincs a rokonaival.  Ugyanakkor nem is túl bonyolult, az előkészítése rövidebb mint a játékidő, ami a mostanában divatos társasok közt ritkaságszámba megy.

A doboz ilyen lesz mint a nyitókép, de a tábla nem...most csak ennyit mondhatok... legyen ez, meg a  a játékkal kapcsolatos többi "apróság" - meglepetés! A Cirkusz szeptemberben debütál a Huh2-vel és a Csináld magad szettel együtt. (Az illusztrációkat lehet, hogy folytatom, mert a porboszorkány figurája nem hagy nyugodni.)

I had extreme expectations for this game, which made our situation rather difficult, and of course I got on the nerves of everyone who tried to help. (I wanted to move a lot of characters on the board so there would also be adventure in it, not just luck, sprinkled with just enough cleverness that a parent can muster in the evening.)
All the games in this category concentrate on the events of the stage, while my illustrations, of course… are not explicitly about the performance… I did extensive research on boardgamegeek, and I think we finally solved the problem well: our game doesn’t even slightly resemble its relatives. At the same time, it’s not too complicated, the preparation time is shorter than the game time, which is a rarity among popular boardgames nowadays.

The box will be like this, like the opening image, but the board won’t… that’s all I can say for now… let this, and other „trifles” about the game – be a surprise! The Circus will have its debut in September along with Huh2 and the DIY set. (I might continue the illustrations, because the figure of the dust witch won’t let me rest.)
