Doggy weekend • Kutyás hétvége

Our last weekend was dedicated to our Dogs&Homes game. We had a fantastic time with it and with our two dogs (Dana and Janka) around. Janka is almost seventeen and she could not be photographed. Although she is almost blind and totally deaf, she knows exactly when I intend to shoot a picture. She blinks, yawns or shakes her head always in the worst moment. Fortunately, Dana is different. She is a real diva: she can pose anytime, anywhere, because she knows she is beautiful. What is an advantage in photography is not good for her training process. She is extremely intelligent and knows exactly what she can(not) afford to do in certain situations. Unfortunately, she loves to mix up these occasions. There are only a few things she is not allowed to do, but she always wants to be sure if these rules are still valid or not. She has her own opinion, she talks back and loves herself deeply. All these things make our life funny and adventurous with her. Although we enjoy her ups and downs equally, I have to admit that a great amount of humour is needed to survive. BUT Life would be dull with a dog who acts as a slave! I would buy a robot instead of breaking the colourful and funny personality of a dog.
Yesterday Dana was in her best mood: she wanted to work with us. She was crazy about taking part in everything that we do. On other days, when we stare at a "lightbox" all day long she is not interested, but photography is something different. I'm sure she knows exactly what it means. I don't know what could be in her mind, but obviously, she understands the point: she doesn't move, she doesn't blink until I press the button. She accompanied us throughout the city and being a model, she took her task very seriously. That can be the reason, that her face is a bit more serious on the pictures than on the ones were taken at home.  I was in trouble to choose the matching ones of the pictures, that’s why this is a bit eclectic selection. She was so funny, that I did not want to miss a single shot. Especially that she is the muse of the game. :-)

Fantasztikus kutyás hétvégét töltöttünk Danával és persze Jankával is, akiről nem készülhetett fotó. A tizenhetedik évében poroszkál, alig lát és töksüket, de azt pontosan tudja, hogy mikor akarok exponálni. Olyankor pislog, ásít vagy elrántja a fejét. Szerencsére a másik típusból is van készleten. Dana igazi díva: bármikor, bárhol képes pózolni, tudja, hogy gyönyörű. Ez nem segít a nevelési folyamatában (mármint a mi szemszögünkből nézve). Elképesztően intelligens és pontosan tudja, hogy mit (nem) engedhet meg magának. Kevés ilyen van, de azt mindig ellenőrzi, hogy aktuális-e még. Önálló véleménye van, visszadumál és borzasztóan szereti saját magát. Igazából ezt élvezem a legjobban az egészben. :-D Nekünk nem való robotkutya, azt lehet kapni elemeset is, minek megtörni egy ilyen színes és szórakoztató személyiséget. A miénkért meg úgysem kár.. :-D Ami a lényeg, hogy jó és “rossz” egyaránt őszintén jön belőle, cenzúra nélkül. Tegnap dolgozni akart és őrülten élvezte, hogy részt vehet abban amit csinálunk. Nyilván nem érti, hogy miért nézünk egy világító vackot egész nap, de a fotózásról lehetnek fogalmai. Nem tudom mi, de a lényeget érti: addig nem mozdul, nem pislog, amíg nem exponálok. Az egész városon végigkísért minket és komolyan vette a feladatát, picit komolyabb is az arca, mint az itthoni képeken. Mindet megosztom veletek, bár ettől kicsit eklektikus a sor, de nem hagytam volna ki egyik arcát sem. Ha már egyszer ő a Dogs&Homes játék múzsája?
