Sometimes there are cool things in the newsfeed on facebook. This is how I stumbled upon Hallstatt. It seemed to good to be true… but I knew that the person who posted it doesn’t use any kind of image editing tools, so I decided I need to see this!!! (and I will post edited images of it :-))) ) I saw it, I fell in love with it, I set it aside. Up until I couldn’t reach a decision regarding Christmas presents… Then I got the idea: I’ll surprise my family with this trip. Organizing it was a pretty big deal (especially considering my casual relationship with reality) but I was really pro at it!!! Nothing could stand in my way! (Except technology.) I arduously typed in the e-mail on my phone to make the reservation, with lots of elaborate questions of course, my fingers nearly broke off. I was waiting for the whole thing to shut down, but it didn’t. Then the quotation arrived in pdf, which wouldn’t have been a problem if I had acrobat reader on my phone with which to open it. Of course I didn’t. I downloaded a few at once, but neither of them worked with it. Now I wasn’t calm anymore. I sent that damn file to my computer, which also meant that the message became visible on all the computers, at home and in the office as well. Since it’s a work tool, there are a few mobile versions of it around us, too… Gigantic challenge: I have to reach all of them before my husband does. But I made it!!! Then it turned it out it was all in vain, the file was damaged. Aaaaaah. Then it also turned out that the hotel is made up of multiple buildings, but there are only full facilities in the main building. I.e. breakfast and sauna. I won’t bore you with the details any longer… It was a good match, it kept my adrenaline levels pretty high for days. It was well worth all the turmoil, because it turned out fantasticaly!!! This was our most relaxing, most wonderful trip. It was like coming back from a different planet. It’s hard getting used to weekdays again. Lucky this goat carved of wood wanted to come home with us, it’s nice to look at. I don’t like knick-nacks, but it’s all that’s left of Halstatt. The goat on the desk. :-)
Hallstatt weboldala itt.
I checked out lots of hotels, but the best was Heritage Hotel Hallstatt. I don’t say, it really is luxurious, champagne breakfast, what have you… but if you’re spending on it anyway…? The other contestant I looked at, but didn’t win: Weiss Lamm. They’re very nice, it’s very clean, orderly, but without seeing it, I wouldn’t have dared to try it, but now I recommend it bravely. It’s ideal if you’re looking for a simple place. In restaurants, we recommend Brauhaus, though the arrangement is pretty bizarre, somehow it’s filled with a constant Christmas mood.. strange.. but the food is all right and by that I also mean that there is else other than fried chicken. And to try coffee, hot chocolate and apple strudel, I recommend Julius Meinl on the main square. You can find Hallstatt official website here.

Akkor, dolgozzunk is…
Well then let’s start… Here are our plans in no particular order (becase we get good ideas while we’re relaxing): I’m planning four completely new puzzles instead of the glass marble puzzle family and change Care and Friends puzzles as well. Or make memory games instead, it’s not entirely clear yet. Encouraged by the success of the cups, the cereal bowls are coming one by one or in a group depending on where inspiration dries out, and what my husband says. :-) Of course we’re planning new games, too, it would be nice to finish my „big” Christmas plan I brought along with me from last year… we’re planning another game with collecting bugs, I can’t say any more about it, this is currently all there is to the plan. Also I came acros the plans of a taxi game that I had completey forgotten. But first we need to expand our shelf system. This is not so creative, but really urgent.
