Nagyon kedveljük a minimál stílust és a puritán, rusztikus dolgokat, így nem nagyon fecséreltük az időnket "felesleges" bútorokra és lámpabúrákra - eddig. Nyilván öregszünk, mert a tíz éven át indusztriális hatást biztosító csupasz-villanykörte-egy-árva-foglalatban megoldás megingott pozíciójában. A sokadik monitor előtt töltött nap után felvetődött a kérdés, hogy jó-e nekünk, ha vacsora közben csak hunyorogva tudunk egymásra nézni. Nosza próbáljuk ki, milyen lenne egy búra! - javasolta a férjem, majd gyakorlatiasan egy papírzacskót húzott az izzóra. Nem is akármilyet… intimissimi outlet… nagyon elegáns lett. Mindenki borzasztóan elégedett volt, csak az én maximalizmusom és perfekciómániám újult ki ha ránéztem. Nem tudom, ti hogy látjátok, nekem úgy tűnt, mintha nem annyira harmonizálna az adventi naptárral. Sem. Két pohár bor után sem. Akkor elkezdtem lámpa után kutatni a neten (sürgősségi megoldásról volt szó), húúúú és olyan gyönyörűt találtam! Betonból, belül aranyozva! Az alapanyag súlya definiálta a hozzáférhető legnagyobb átmérőt, így letettem arról, hogy legyen nekünk ilyen. Összefoglalva: drága volt. Helyesbítek: nem volt drága, nem vitatom, hogy ér ennyit, csak nem szántam rá ilyen sokat. Nadeakkormost? Mindenesetre megmutattam a férjemnek, hátha más perspekítvából látja a lehetőségeinket, de nem… sikerült annyira megijesztenem, hogy ő vetette bele magát a lámpaprojektbe. Nyilván szimpatizált a beton verzióval, mert hamarosan talált egy hasonló megoldást papírból. Kénytelen voltam belátni, hogy nagyon rendben van, sőt az otthoni előállítás lehetősége felvillanyozott: szeretem a gyors és hatékony dolgokat. Az eredeti lámpát itt, a sablont pedig itt találjátok, a férjem végül nem így valósította meg, hanem átalakította kicsit (megnyújtotta az oldalait).
Az aranyozás egy ideig kérdéses volt, mert családom tagjai időközben megszokták az "átderengést", ami esetleg hiányozna nekik. Bearanyoztam, szép lett. Pipa. Azt hiszem ideje volt levenni a zacsit a lámpáról…még egy két nap és az intimissimi feliratot is megszokták volna.
We really like minimal and puritan, rustic things. So we never wasted our time with "useless" furniture and lampshades. We are obviously getting old, because the industrial bare-lightbulb-in-a-plain-socket solution has wavered in its position. After many days spent in front of the computer screen, we had to ask the question, is it good for us that we can only look at each other squinting during dinner. Well, let's try what a lampshade would be like! – said my husband, and practically put a paper bag on the lightbulb. Not any bag… intimissimi outlet… it was really elegant. Everyone was awfully satisfied, but my maximalism and perfectionism arose when I looked at it. I don't know what you think, but it seemed to me that it didn't really harmonize with the advent calendar. Either. Not even after two glasses of wine. Then I started looking for a new lamp on the net (it was an emergency solution), woowww and I found one that is so beautiful! Made of concrete, lined with gold inside! Due to the material's weight, the available largest diameter was set, so I gave up having one. In short: it was expensive for me. But what now? Anyhow, I showed it to my husband, perhaps he would see our possibilities from a different perspective, but no… I managed to scare him so much that he took over the lamp project. He obviously liked the concrete version, because he shortly found a similar solution made of paper. I had to admit that it is very nice, and the possibility of making it at home excited me: I like quick and effective things. You can find the original lamp here and here, but we didn't make this, we altered it mede the sides longer, as you see on the pictures.
The gold lining was in question for a while, because my family members have gotten used to the diffused light, which they would miss. I made it although, they liked it, the end. I think it was time to take the bag off the lamp… one or two more days and they would have gotten used to the intimissimi label, too.
