Sikerült kilépnem az éttermes játék digitális hipnózisából, és most némileg kaotikus helyzetjelentés következik a Janka fejeken túlról. Most végre nyugodtan végig tudom gondolni, hogy hol vannak a babagyártás gyenge pontjai. Van néhány... Nézzük sorban:
Amikor Emmát rivaldafénybe tettük, két varrónővel dolgoztam. Időközben kiderült, hogy egyikük tökéletesen alkalmatlan a sorozatgyártásra, inkább a tervezésben vett volna részt. Azzal viszont én is boldogulok, köszi. IÍgy gyakorlatilag egy komplett varrodát és ezzel együtt varrógépbeszerzést pakoltam Diára, aki egyedüli versenyzőként maradt – és hála az égnek, nagyon talpraesetten megbirkózott a feladattal. Mérhetetlenül hálás vagyok neki! Meg azért is, mert nem ismer lehetetlent, bármi történjen is, mindig mosolyog! Nemcsak kedves, vakmerő is: bátran bevállalt egy barátságtalan, motorzajos interlock gépet, holott ezidáig  egy kedves, csendes, lábbal hajtós antik darabon dolgozott. Nagyon nagy szeretettel készíti el a ruhákat, és nem csak az első darabot, de több százat is, ha kell! Mostantól a babákkal együtt az ő kezében lesz minden varrnivaló itt nálunk, a fejpántoktól a vászonzsákokig. Nem kevés. Köszönöm, Dia, a precíz munkádat és a lelkesedésedet!

Három új ruhakollekció már sínen van, ezeket Jankával egyszerre fogjuk útnak indítani. Janka stíusa teljesen kiforrott már, alig finomítottunk valamit ahhoz a prototípushoz képest, amit Bojka karácsonyra kapott. Az már biztos, hogy hintája és girlandja lesz a festőcucc helyett – de ezt már mondtam.
A babák doboza körül van a legtöbb kérdőjel... Nagy valószínűséggel változtatnom kell, mert tervezésben és kivitelezésben is nagy teher a sokféleségük. Ezért érthető módon a limitált szériás megoldás egyre kevésbé tetszik. Bár tetszik-nem tetszik, azzal kell gazdálkodnom, ami van, ez eddig sem az én döntésem volt. Viszont nagyon megszerettem a babák jelenlegi stílusát, amit meg is tartanék jó ideig. Illetve Emma kutyasétáltatósát tervezem visszatapsolni állandónak, gyönyörűek lennének a girlandos Jankával párban… De térjünk csak vissza a földre: a helyzet kilátástalan. Az anyagok jönnek-mennek... tervezhetek én bármit. Ugyan a férjem talált egy boltban még három és fél méter anyagot Emma régi ruhájából (ami kb.50 db babára elég), de ez minden. Nem tervezik, hogy ismét kapható legyen. Felvásárolni pedig nem tudok és nem merek egy bálányi anyagot. További doboz probléma: a külön megjelentetett ruhák mindkét babára illenek majd, ezt is valahogyan fel kell tüntetni a dobozokon – ezért is alapjaiban meg kell változtatni a dizájnt.
A gyártási problémákon túl van még valami: beakadt az a mozi nekem Emmáról, amit tavaly elkezdtünk, ám mivel jött a karácsony, sajnos csak egy ígéretes nyersanyag szintjén maradt. Jó lenne újra nekifutni... Emmáról, Jankáról és a gyártásról. Elhatároztam, hogy a babásdiról ezúttal nemcsak fotókat készítek, hanem ha úgy adódik, rövid snitteket is. Aztán majd meglátjuk, mi lesz belőle. Bemelegítésnek egy rövid szösszenet a festésről: forgattam: én, festem: én, megvágtam: én. Ennyit a stáblistáról. Mozi itt.

Más: Idén szeptemberben leszünk öt évesek. Terveztem valami rövid áttekintést, igaz mindössze portfólió szinten, amikor álmodozásomat egy Kecskemétről érkezett felkérés támogatta meg: szeretnének egy bemutatkozó kiállítást rólunk. Nemcsak a munkáinkról, hanem a cég történetéről is. Játékokkal, hejehuja, miegymás. Mi ez, ha nem eleve elrendelés? A férjem tudta a választ, szerintem ti is kitaláljátok: Még több munka. :-D


I managed to step out of the digital hypnosis of the restaurant game, and now I give you a somewhat chaotic report from beyond the Janka heads. Now I can finally think it over calmly where the weaknesses of doll production are. There are a few… let's take it in order:
When we put Emma in the spotlight, I was working with two seamstresses. Meanwhile it turned out that one of them is perfectly unsuited for serial production, she would have rather partaken in designing. I can manage that on my own, thanks. Thus I basically dumped a whole sewing workshop and procurement of a sewing machine on Dia, who remained as the single contestant – and thank god she took on the task very aptly. I am immensely grateful to her! And also because nothing is impossible for her, whatever happens, she's always smiling! She is not only kind, she is also courageous: she bravely took on an unfriendly, loud-motored interlock machine, even though she had been working with a nice, quiet, foot-powered antique piece so far. She makes the clothes with much love, and not just the first piece, but hundreds, if needed! From now on, along with the dolls, all of our sewing will be in her hands, from headbands to canvas bags. It's not a small load. Thank you, Dia, for your accurate work and you enthusiasm!

Three new clothes collections are already on track, we are going to set these on their way at together with Janka. Janka's style is now fully formed, we barely refined anything compared to the prototype Bojka got for Christmas. It's sure now that she will have a swing and a garland instead of the painting equipment – but I already said that.
The most question marks are around the dolls' boxes… I probably have to make changes, because their variety is a big burden both in design and in production. So, understandably, I like the limited edition solution less and less. Though like it or not, I have to work with what I have, this hasn't been my decision thus far either. But I really came to love the dolls' current style, which I would like to keep for quite a while. Also I would like to make Emma's dog walking set permanent, they would be beautiful paired with Janka with a garland… but let's get back to earth: the situation is hopeless. Materials come and go… no matter what I design. Though my husband found three and a half meters more of Emma's old dress in a store (which is enough for about 50 dolls), but that's all. They don't plan for it to be available again. And I can't and don't dare to buy up a bale of material. Further box problem: the separately issued dresses will fit both dolls, we should note that on the boxes somehow – so the design has to be fundamentally changed.
Beyond the production problems, there is another thing: the movie is stuck in my head that we started about Emma last year, but since Christmas came, it remained on the level of a promising raw material. It would be good to start shooting again. About Emma and Janka and the production. I decided that this time I'm not only going to make photos of the dolls, but short scenes as well, if the opportunity arises. Then we'll see what comes of it. Other: We will be five years old this September. I was planning some short overview, true, only as a portfolio, when my daydreaming was reinforced by an offer from Kecskemét: they would like to make an introductory exhibition about us. Not only about our work, but also about the history of our company. With games, merrymaking, whatnot. What is this if not predestination? My husband knew the answer, I think you'll figure it out, too: Even more work. :-D
